Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ review - [sponsored post]
Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

I've always been an iPhone user and I'm the kind of person who doesn't really like change or trying things out of my comfort zone. In this case, when Samsung approached me to try out their latest Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ I was skeptical and hesitant as the world of android was terribly foreign to me.

However, I was determined to figure out what all the rave about Android phones were all about and I did hear good reviews from my peers about the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ and indeed after more than month of familiarizing myself with my new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ and using it daily, I must say, it definitely did not disappoint at all!
So here I am, blogging about my experience with the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+
so you can understand it's features and perks:

Firstly, the design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ has a sleek glass and metal finishing which provides strength and durability. The size fits nicely into the palm of my hands and does not feel flimsy at all. As I'm writing this post, I realized that I have not had any screen protector on since the day I got my phone (absent minded me) and I freaked out a little fearing that the screen might have been accidentally scratched during the past month or so but lo and behold - there were no scratches at all! Seems like, I could really do without a screen protector this time. This really impressed me as it further emphasized on the quality of the materials used for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+!

You would have also noticed the unique curved edges on the sides of this phone which is a one-of-a-kind feature for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+. Its dual edge glass provides easy access and shortcuts to your phone making it multifunctional and user friendly, especially the People Edge option that’s only available on the Galaxy S6 edge 4G+. So the whole deal is you’ll get to add 5 important people to your life under this mode and when your phone is facing down, you’ll easily be able to know who’s calling with the colour-coded notification lights that you assigned to your contacts! Really stellar, I have to say!

It is comes in 4 colours:
Gold Platinum
Black Sapphire
White Pearl
Green Emerald

In my opinion, the strongest feature of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ is actually their camera.
Being an active Instagrammer, I'm always on the go, snapping pictures whenever something catches my eye. A phone's camera is extremely important to me and I can get really picky about it.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ has a Quick Launch Camera function which shoots moments in less than one second simply by double tapping the home button and the camera is immediately launched. No more fumbling through your list of apps trying to find the camera button and missing out on precious photo worthy moments!

Another feature that I really like is the Ultra Fast Charging capability the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ has. We all know how fast phone batteries can deplete and one charge might not even last you through the day. Being so actively engaged with our phones 24/7, your phone is as good as your best friend. I really dislike carrying portable chargers around therefore the Ultra Fast Charging has benefited me a lot. Within just a short 10 minutes of charging, it can provide you with up to 4 hours of usage. So I usually just plug in my phone to charge in my car while I'm on to go from point A to point B and it quickly charges in a flash!

Also, if you are not a fan of wires and plugging things in, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ can also be charged wirelessly!  However, you would need to purchase their Wireless Charging Pad separately :)

When people ask me what's so good about the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ camera, I would usually tell them that it's the Pro Mode that impressed me. The Pro Mode gives you functions just like a DSLR on a smartphone!
You would be able to adjust settings like your ISO, White Balance,
Exposure and even manually focus on your subject for clear macro shots.

It also has an f1.9 lens which captures bright and clear photos even in low light environments.
No more under exposed and dull looking photos.

I've also been using my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ to snap my food pictures and it always makes the food looks really appetizing, clear and vivid. You can even adjust your image size and format to suit your preference. For me, I usually would opt for the square crop as it gives me a good gauge for Instagram purpose.

With their Auto Real Time HDR Function taking pictures with strong back light would not pose as an issue anymore. Lighting in such images are evened out and balanced. It is also great for selfies as it has a Beauty Mode and even a Wide Selfie function to include more people in your selfies!

Lastly, if you're the kind that loves to take pictures of moving objects, fret not as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ has a Tracking AF function which tracks your moving subject ensuring that your subject is always focused while snapping. Great for taking pictures of pets, children and even sports!

In conclusion, I've been loving my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+ and have not regretted since the swap over from my iPhone. Grateful for Samsung for giving me this opportunity to review and try out the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge 4G+.
